DIGI COMMAND

All digital modes are now available to EchoBASE users
All that is needed is a software download of "VNC VIEWER 4" from http://www.realvnc.com.
Install VNC VIEWER 4, and you are all set to use MixW 2.12, and all the modes that it supports.
To use the digital modes you must do the following:
( I am assuming you are using the EZ PAD by OH2FH).

    1...Instantiate EchoLink / and the EZ PAD.

    2...Connect to N8AD-R

    3...Dial a frequency for the MODE.

    4...Go to the XCVR mode.
         This is necessary to validate that you
          are a CONTROL OP in the DATA BASE.

    5...The system will set up for the frequency
          that you chose. and announce that you
          are in the "MIC HOT" mode.

    6...IMMEDIATELY activate the "DIGI" command

    7...Upon activation EchoBASE will print out
         important DATA in TEXT CHAT.

        A : RealVNC Info for downloading
        B : A new PASSWORD (first 4 letters)
            the last 4 letters will come
            from me via E-mail and will
            never change.
           example: test????
            Each time you connect, the
            system will assign new, first
            four alphanumerics to you.
        C : The SERVER IP Address
            You can get this from EchoLink
            by right clicking my Call on
            the station list, then
            "SHOW INFO".

    8...Enter this information into VNC VIEWER 4.
        A:SERVER = 69.163.30.140
        B:PASSWORD - testXXXX
            where XXXX is the 4 digit
            (always the same) code
            you get from me in E-mail.

    9...MixW 2.12 will pop up on your desktop, and
         you will now be able to do everything
       as if it were at your station.
