Hello from N8AD, Included is the complete package for Visual Basic 6.0 There are 2 Sample Notepad files included also: myfreq.txt ControlOps.txt Place these files wherever you place the ART35.EXE program on your drive. myfreq.txt is a list of "YOUR" favorite frequencies for use as your memory channels ControlOps.txt is a DATA BASE of stations you authorize to TRANSMIT with your IRB. (of course change these to what you want them to be, and save them.) To run the ART36 program simply CLICK THE FLAG icon. If EchoLink is not running, ART will load and run it automatically.(ART needs EchoLink) If you are going to use the MixW2.xx FUNCTIONS, which make ART extremely versatile, Launch EchoLink, then MixW, then ART LAST (you could also launch MixW, EchoLink, ART). When you are finished with the session, the order of shutdown is IMPORTANT. ALWAYS shut ARTIE down FIRST (with the EXIT pull down menu, or DISC button). After ART is shutdown, any order is ok for the remaining applications. FAILURE to shut down ART first will result in having to Shutdown EchoLink with TASK MANAGER !!!. ONCE ART is running it can serve multiple uses. 1...CONTROL other EchoLink EchoBASE HF/VHF/UHF Remote Bases 2...CONTROL your LOCAL MixW Application. 3...CONTROL other EchoLink "ARTIE" Remote Bases. 4...CONTROL your local HF/VHF/UHF transceiver . CONVERSELY if MixW is running, with CAT control of your HF/VHF/UHF Transceiver... 4...It is the CONTROLLER for your Internet Remote Base that other EchoLink Nodes can use. 5...It can run in SYNC with other ART IRB's ALL connected in Conference Mode on EchoLink. 6...If eQSO is also running, It can print MixW decoded text into eQSO's COMMENT field. 7... Prints CW, BPSK31, QPSK31, FSK31, RTTY, AMTOR, PACTOR, PACKET, THROB, MT63, and MFSK to the CHAT TEXT box of EchoLink as it's received off the air. 8...Can be used as digital transceivers between 2 EchoLink nodes (ie:EchoLink QSO in CW). This is an experimental package. It is by no means finished. There are many improvements, and refinements for the system. However, it is operable, and should provide a strong BASE for development. I've included the SOURCE CODE for your contributions, if you are so inclined. If your intent is just to use the package as is...There are many sources of HELP available...
